We all are familiar with the fact that Kia is making a re-emergence in Pakistan with the help of Lucky Cement Group. Formerly both the Kia and Hyundai were beneath the umbrella of Dewan Motors. However when Dewan stopped manufacturing these Korean cars, the parent companies were after new partners in Pakistan to pick up where they left off selling their cars. Hyundai has ventured up with Nishat Group while Kia went with Lucky Group. And now that Kia has disclosed its 2019 Kia Forte, it is perhaps the best bet for Kia Lucky Motors to contest Toyota Corolla and Honda Civic in Pakistan.
Kia has unveiled the updated 2019 Forte at the continuing 2018 Detroit auto show. The new car is sleeker and has a more coupe-like outer surface than its preceding iteration. Kia utters that the new Forte 2019 takes its insight from its sportier sibling Kia Stinger.
2019 Kia Forte has taken on a cab-rearward exterior that presents it a more of a fastback kind of a appearance. The new 2019 Kia Forte is 182.7 inches long, making it 3.2 inches longer than the preceding car. It is also 0.7 inches broader and 0.5 inches taller.
Kia has not merely enhanced the suspension setup of the new 2019 model but has also improved the electronic power steering of the car to offer it more feel and feedback friendly.
Coming to the drivetrain , the new car is offered with the same 2.0-liter 4-cylinder motor obtainable in the previous Forte. The engine generates 147 hp and 132 lb-ft of torque. The engine is accessible with either a standard six-speed manual or Kia’s new Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT) that is fundamentally Kia’s version of continuously variable transmission.
